The Demonic Contract

Introduction

The Demonic Contract is a story mod pack created by Leothelion (Discord: Leo the Lion#4953). The mod pack is currently version 0.44.4.2, which plays on Bonfire 0.44.4. Suggestions are welcome!

Story

The story follows the adventures of Kayden in fulfilling the terms of the Demonic Contract that he has signed with Mazrad unwittingly. As expected of a mischievous incubus, Mazrad puts Kayden through a series of sexual trials and tribulations, most notably on a quest for survival on an island inhabited by sex-hungry orcs led by Grummush. Will Kayden survive to tell the tale?

Mod Pack Installation Steps

1. Manually download the mod pack at the Bonfire orc repository: https://github.com/shadowlost25/Bonfire-orc-repository/tree/master/Mod%20Packs
2. Unzip the files into the Bonfire folder listed below. Back up the original contents first if you do not wish to overwrite the contents!
   • Windows: C:\Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\LocalLow\Prasetto\Bonfire
   • Mac: Users/<Your User Name>/library/cache/prasetto/Bonfire
   • Linux: /home/<Your User Name>/.config/unity3d/Prasetto/Bonfire
3. Load the game and double check that all of the mod NPCs are switched on in the NPC Manager.

How to Play

Starting the First Playthrough

1. Select the the Kayden profile. He is the main character of the story mod pack. You can also use your own orc profile, but for role-playing purpose he should look like a human. Note that the final part of the current storyline may not work correctly with your own orc profile.
2. Speak with Mazrad to begin the story.
3. The inventory and console commands should not be accessed for role-playing purpose.

Saving and Loading the Game Progress

1. Click the Save button at the bottom game menu. When the Kayden profile is reloaded, the game progress should resume accordingly. Saving only works reliably immediately after changing scenes (e.g. stepping through portals).

Starting a New Playthrough

1. The most reliable method is to use a fresh Kayden profile from the mod pack file. This can be done using the mod pack installation steps described above to overwrite the Kayden.orc file.

Hints

The story is currently designed to be largely linear with some alternative story paths but with many dialogue options. Dialogue options are largely cosmetic with no major impact to the story outcomes. Dating sim features may be added in future updates such that dialogue options affect story outcomes. These are some hints to experience the available story paths.

Top/Bottom Preference

1. The first dialogue option presented at the start of the game determines Kayden's top/bottom preference, which affects how he reacts to various situations with the NPCs. Kayden prefers to bottom by default.
2. There is an additional scene during Kayden's first encounter with the orcs if he prefers to top.

Teleportation Portal

1. There is someone you can meet outside of the portal. He is interested to speak with Kayden when he is glowing brightly.

Story Paths

1. There are two story paths on the island. Kayden can either focus on helping his friend out or side track to socialize with the other orcs.
2. There are two story paths at the bath house depending on how you play the sex synchronization mini-game. One of these paths leads to an additional scene.
